Football isn't only about dribbling. For his position (striker) he had enough pace and dribbling ability to dribble pass and nutmeg 1 or 2 defenders and take a shot. Messi is a RW and a CF he had the ability to dribble pass 4 or 5 defenders at once and take a shot on target and he's good at his job. Every position demands different attributes. [[ FYI Ronaldo was also good at dribbling but due to a nasty knee injury around 2014 he had to change his game style. Just search it anywhere you'll get to know, and if you are searching, also search some of his clips of 2007-2009 when he was at man utd you'll get to know how deadly he was with the ball.]]

@@AdityaRaj-fp7ue nah I've seen clips already of young ronaldo dribbling thatd where he was actually a FOOTBALLER, when he was at madrid he was just a goalscorer. But even young ronaldo before the injury was nowhere near messi's level, plus dribbling is one of the main parts of the game so if youre not world class at it, why even bother talk about him at a great standard, its easy maths

@@pacyguy7144 He fitted best in Madrid's system. Real Madrid wanted him to be that way A LETHAL NO. 9... He won with real Madrid and Real Madrid won with him. He was the most clutch player. You need goals to win and he gave Madrid goals in the most difficult situations and matches. Some were tap ins some were absolute bangers and some were free kicks. And that is why Ronaldo is the greatest goal scorer. I acknowledge Messi too. He is an all-rounder. A playmaker and a finisher. Truly once in a generation player. But just considering the ability to dribble is not justified for judging a player. Take example of basquets, was he a dribbler that would dribble pass 4-5 defenders? He was good at his la pausa and playe making. Psg tried Messi as no 9. and failed badly becouse that position demands different attributes like insane pace, physicality, sublime first touch and finishing. He was then played as a no. 10 and a false 9 where he caused nightmares for league 1 defenders. My point is dribbling is not the only criteria to judge a no. 9
