Biased? What decisions were unfair? An Almeria player clearly made handball in the box which resulted in a penalty. During the build up play, an Almeria player touches the face of Bellingham with a hand that was too high for someone who defends the ball. Vini's goal wasn't hands. The rules state that the shoulder doesn't solely mean the top of the shoulder but also the sides. Vini did not score with his bicep but with the side of his shoulder.

Some teams are luckier than others but Real Madrid most definitely the most gifted of the lot thats for sure. It would be great if RM would recieve it the other end once in a while. So what goes around comes around so it balances out the playing field a bit.

As a Madrid fan I feel like this win has so many questionable moments... the penalty didnt seem right and the 3rd goal Almeria scored shouldnt have been disqualified... winning like this feels wrong

Does it need to be stated? Imagine you are in the position, someone jumps on you you get slightly pushed and it hits your arm ,that seems fair ?? It really doesn't .If you compare this to the touching face foul it's ridiculous ,you accidentally touch someone's ear it's a foul (that was so obvious dive just because his arm touched his face because he got ahead of him)but when you jump on someone it isn't ,the ref was going places...@@thanhtrinhngoc2444

Last time I saw this kind of referee decisions was 22 years ago, Italy vs South Korea World Cup 2002. And that referee end up in jail eventually for smuggling drugs. I can see a bright future for this referee too.

to be honest, there should’ve been no pen, third almeria goal should’ve stood and they deserved the win. surprised they even bothered calling the offside for the second bellingham goal 😭. shocking.

As a Madrid fan, I'm all for releasing the VAR conversations for this match, and as a football fan in general I'm all for scrapping VAR altogether. It just makes refereeing faults all the more devestating. It does more harm than good and we've seen this in EPL too.

The referee "errors" in favor of the RM are a historical constant, nothing new for anyone who knows the history of the Spanish League. The referee has annulled a legitimate goal, has approved one scored with the arm, has extended the game beyond what is justifiable, etc. The favoritism towards Real Madrid by the referees is truly ridiculous. By the way, for all the "merengues", I am not a fan of Barcelona, between those two teams and their privileges they are devaluing and destroying the league, that is why they are so interested in the Super League.

I have not actively watched football for very long, but in my eyes this match was a good example on the use of VAR and used correctly? Everyone complain over VAR and how it does not work, but here it were used and worked well for once. And everyone saying that Real Madrid never get referees decisions against them and just good will and so on, are wrong.
